A Kenyan has become an overnight millionaire after winning a high performance sports car valued at Ksh22 million and a trip to the Maldives in a global competition.
Alfred Machira walked away with a brand new Porsche Panamera Sports in a global competition organised by Qatar Airways.
The car is unique with its proportions and silhouette being unmistakably Porsche. It is athletically streamlined and well featured with clear contours and powerful muscles.
The Porsche Panamera Sports is a rare model in Kenya and is characterised by a long wheelbase, shorter overhang, and lend dynamism. The sculpting of its waistline and side profiles makes it gain the customary Porsche waistline.
Besides the sports car, Machira has also been granted a fully paid trip for two to the Maldives. While holidaying, Machira is also set to enjoy a return chartered private jet flight with Qatar Executive.
While in the Maldives, Machira will also enjoy a five-star hotel experience at Six Senses Laamu.
How He Won
The award winning airline, Qatar Airways, launched the 'Fly and Win' campaign to recognise and reward members of its Loyalty Programme, Privilege Club.
Machira tried his luck by entering the prize raffle by enrolling in the campaign that was running between November 1, 2021, and January 31, 2022.
He emerged among the three individuals who were awarded by Qatar Airways with the ultimate winner taking home Ksh114 million (USD1 Million).
While making the announcement on Thursday, March 24, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Akbar Al Baker, noted that the awards are part of the airline's bid to appreciate their clients.
"It is our pleasure to have been able to break this fantastic news to three of our valued Loyalty Programme members. As the World’s Best Airline, we feel it is important to reward our Privilege Club members for their commitment to our success," he stated.
