State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena threw a birthday party for her son, Nathaniel Amani who turned 16.
The teenager could not contain his emotions and hugged his mon for her efforts in celebrating his special day.
Kanze Dena, on Friday, April 22, shared videos and pictures from the event, which embraced a basketball theme.

The low key event was attended by close family and friends. The former Citizen TV news anchor revealed that one of her nieces also contributed to the event, by baking the birthday cake.
"Thank you very much for your goodwill messages... the greetings were received by the person they were intended for as well as a bucket of water... we are thankful the day was a success. A big thank you to my niece for making this day memorable," she stated.
Kanze had previously written a beautiful message to her son as she recalled the milestones he has been through and how special their bond was.
“My peace champion... your love for sports is unmatched...and with each sport, you have picked you have worked hard to be at the top of the pack.
“My son, son of my youth... I will always keep cheering as I always have at each competition as you dribble through life and swim through life's waters. As I have always told you the coach of this game called life will constantly watch over you. Happy 16th Amani!," she wrote.
Nathaniel Amani is Kanze's son from a previous relationship. The media personality in a past interview addressed how she co-parents with the son's father.
Kanze Dena wedded her longtime Nick Mararo in 2019, in a traditional ceremony held at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia County.
The lovebirds celebrated a two-day ceremony that ended on Saturday, March 2.
Mararo officially asked for Kanze's hand in marriage and also paid her dowry. Their nuptials was an invite-only affair which saw the attendance of close friends and family members.
