Allan Makanda, who was recorded wailing Mwai Kibaki's death at Parliament on Tuesday, April 26, disrupted the late President's State Funeral at Nyayo National Stadium moments after President Uhuru Kenyatta delivered his speech.

The youth, on Friday, April 29, approached the podium where the clergy was seated and requested to be granted permission to address the congregants at Nyayo Stadium.

He asked for two minutes to make a few remarks before security quickly intervened to whisk him away from the Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri, Anthony Muheria.

Archbishop Muheria, however, put his arm around him to shield him from the security aides for a few minutes.

"He is a Kenyan and a son of our nation. He is emotional at the loss of our President. Treat him well," Muheria pleaded.

The funeral service was conducted by the church in conjunction with the military.

Makanda, on Tuesday, April 26 stripped and cried while the public was viewing the body of the former President outside Parliament.

He further drew attention outside the Parliament buildings by claiming that Kibaki was his biological grandfather.

"I have been living with a mentality that I am a distant grandchild of Kibaki so give me a chance to see his body."

"People used to call me 'Kibaki'. From the time I came to Nairobi in 2016 till now, people still call me 'Kibaki' (mjukuu wa Kibaki)," he alleged.

Makanda added that he comes from Bungoma and claimed that he strikes a close resemblance with the late Mwai Kibaki.

The embattled youth cited his grown bald head as proof of his allegations.

"He is my president, he gave me free education, give me time and opportunity to view his body," Makanda wailed.
