On Tuesday, May 10, the A-Lister, who has a net worth north of Ksh197 billion (USD1.7 billion), announced that her headline-making products would make a debut on the African continent on May 27, with one destination being Kenya.

She further explained that she had spent her time working hard to extend her world domination onto the African Continent.

"I’ve been waiting for this moment! Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin are finally dropping in Africa! Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe...We coming at you May 27th and that’s just the beginning!" she announced.

Founded on an inclusivity motto, both Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin have developed a wide range of products retailing for as high as Ksh20,000 per piece.

For instance, to acquire the Fenty scent christened Fenty Eau de Parfum, customers have to fork up to Ksh20,300 while Fenty Skin pack full-size bundle goes for Ksh11,600.

The cost of Cookies n Clean Whipped Clay Detox Face Mask with Salicylic Acid and Charcoal retails for Ksh4,650 while the Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream with Tropical Oils and Shea Butter will retail for Ksh6,100.

Other products in the fold include a Total Cleanser Makeup-Removing Cleanser with Barbados Cherry that goes for Ksh3,800 as well as Fat Water Niacinamide Pore-Refining Toner Serum with Barbados Cherry at Ksh4,350.

Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen retails for Ksh5,550  while the popular Body Lava Body Luminizer is being offered at a discounted price of Ksh5,950 from Ksh8,550.

For the bold lip, the available shades of Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick will retail for Ksh1,050 from Ksh2,650 while the Fairy Bomb Shimmer Powder will retail for Ksh2,900, a discount from Ksh4,100.

Rihanna is the latest entrant in the African beauty market which is expected to grow by Ksh144.9 billion between 2021 and 2025.

The two products she offers are supported by the French luxury goods group LVMH, a deal that catapulted the singer to the ever-elusive billionaires club.

Rihanna is currently the second richest female entertainer globally behind media mogul Oprah Winfrey.
