KICC Puts Office Equipment on Sale for as Low as Ksh200

The Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC) has put a number of office furniture on sale with some items going for as low as Ksh50.

In a notice announcing the sale of the disposable stores and equipment tender, KICC invited applications from qualified tenderers seeking to purchase the items.

The items range from TV sets going for Ksh2,000 per piece while office chairs will range between Ksh200 and Ksh300.

KICC placed the items into 37 categories. The cheapest being office fittings that will be given out for free with Taskalssfa 181 printer valued at Ksh 60,000 as the most expensive.

Other items on the roster are Professional TV Stands (Ksh3,000), CISCO Switch Catalyst 3750 switches (Ksh10,000), faulty computers (Ksh300), Motorola Radio Calls (Ksh500), and Printer LaserJet Pro 400 Color HP (Ksh3,000).

In the chairs category, Assorted office chairs go for Ksh500 a piece (63 available for sale), Red office chairs (Ksh500 each), Brown banquet seats (Ksh300 each), Conference chairs (Ksh400 each), Plastic chairs (Ksh200 each), Old conference chairs (Ksh300 each) while old carpets are valued at Ksh3,000.

In the notice, all interested participants are directed to submit their tenders by latest Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.

"The tenderer shall deliver the tender in a single, sealed envelope bearing the name and Reference number of the tender addressed to the Procuring Entity and a warning not to open before 7th June 2022, at 10.00 a.m.

"Within the single outer envelope, the Tenderer shall place another sealed envelope containing the list of and prices of the items tendered for," read the notice in part.

KeNHA auction

Separately, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) also announced that it will be auctioning motor vehicles on June 9, 2022.

In a notice dated May 24, the authority revealed that the exercise would take place at KeNHA's Corridor 'A' Office off Athi River-Namanga Interchange next to Mavuno Church.

Interested bidders will be open to view the properties beginning Wednesday, May 24.

The auction is a follow-up of the authority's initial event that took place on Tuesday, March 15, and end on Friday, March 18.
