A young boy impressed Chaka, Nyeri residents by composing a song in praise of Deputy President William Ruto and his presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua.
Rigathi acknowledged the presence of the boy who was on top of one of the campaign vehicles and asked him to address the crowd.
"This young man here says he has something to say. He is the leader of tomorrow let us give him a chance to speak," Rigathi passed on the microphone.
The lad was elated by the opportunity and went ahead to praise the duo through a song. Notably, he was dressed in United Democratic Alliance theme colours, yellow and black.
"Ruto and Rigathi are enough for Kenyans. We pray that God is with you forever. We also pray that God grants you strength to guide the nation," the boy sang
Additionally, the boy said that if he was eligible to vote then Rigathi and Ruto would be assured of his vote.
He concluded by thanking the Mathira MP for the opportunity to address the crowd.
It was a happy moment for his mother as Gachagua directed his team to give her Ksh10,000 to carter for her needs.

With only 8 days to the general election, the Kenya Kwanza team is transversing the nation in a bid to woo Kenyans to vote in their favour.
"Residents of Chaka, I plead with you to vote for me and my boss come August 9. I am one of you. I appeal to you as a child of this region urging you to show up early and elect us as the next government," he stated.
Rigathi was accompanied by other members of the party vying for seats in Nyeri county.
