Roots Party deputy presidential candidate Justina Wamae was denied entry into the party's offices as the row with her boss, George Wajackoyah, escalated.

Police blocked her from entering the headquarters ahead of her disciplinary hearing scheduled for Friday, August 26.

Wamae, who has recently contradicted Roots Party's ideologies, was spotted consulting her team on the way forward conscious of the fact that her relationship with Wajackoyah had further deteriorated.

A spot check by Kenyans.co.ke found out that no activities were going on inside the premises despite Wamae insisting on explaining her position to the party bosses.

The vocal politician was summoned by the party leader and 2022 Presidential candidate George Wajackoyah who argued that Wamae made utterances that rebuked the party.

Among her sentiments that were cited was when she claimed that the former Presidential aspirant supported the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, prior to the August 9 polls.

Wamae was also accused of constantly and spitefully misrepresenting the position of the Roots Party and that of Wajackoyah and other party officials.

Her disciplinary meeting was scheduled for August 26, 2022. After the statement was published, Wamae watered down the summon and avered that she would not attend but would soldier on with her rebellion.

She denied assertions by the party that she was given accommodation and an official party vehicle during the campaign.

"I will not respond to pettiness. But on the non-existent accommodation and car you 'imagined' you 'assisted' me with you can withdraw in your dreams.

"It is your party do what you deem fit, I will soldier on," she tweeted.

Wamae later made a U-turn and confirmed attendance but also threw a jab at the party’s management for lack of well-laid structures to deal with such issues.

She further questioned whether the entities listed on the notice would sit in the disciplinary committee to interrogate her.

“My expectation is that the copied entities will attend as members of the disciplinary committee,” she stated.

Wamae also addressed critics who accused her of aligning with President-elect William Ruto. She stated that "People are trolling me saying I'm looking for a job, it is no secret I'm looking for a job."
