Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's youngest daughter, Winnie Odinga was accused of sabotaging her father's campaigns in the just concluded August 9 polls.

In a bitter exchange with city-based lawyer on Tuesday, September 13, a section of Azimio La Umoja allies blamed Winnie for costing her father the presidency by allegedly interfering with his campaigns.

The spat between the two emanated after the lawyer - a long-time supporter of Raila opined that the ODM boss ought to take a step back and let Kenyans suffer over what he termed as their ungratefulness.

Winnie immediately, called out the lawyer over his sentiments telling him to stop tweeting. "Shut up for once," she responded.

However, her statements saw other allies echo the lawyer's statements as they threatened to expose her interference with Raila's presidential campaigns.

"You think we don't know your involvement in this campaign? Do you think we are afraid to tell everyone how you sabotaged your own father's campaign? We will! Give us a minute," Digital Media Consultant Abraham Kipkorirr lashed back.

In a rejoinder, the lawyer stated that the alteration with Raila's daughter was a case of a witch hunt, and further called out Raila's presidential secretariat for their wrongdoings in the just concluded polls.

Earlier on, activist Boniface Mwangi, claimed that he was removed from all Azimio campaign WhatsApp groups after he wrote a 2,000 word exposé detailing how the coalition bungled its own campaigns.

"Azimio had too many self-important people doing zero work; sycophants, the presidential candidate's family, and incompetent people in critical roles. They behaved as if we had won and failed to carry out their assigned roles diligently.

"They trashed feedback, ignored messages, and never returned calls. The Kenya Kwanza team capitalized on our hubris, organized better, worked harder, and got the controversial win," Boniface Mwangi, a member of Raila's campaign team stated.

He further accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of setting up Raila of failure.

"Because of Uhuru’s incessant and ill-advised utterances, Raila and Martha struggled to shake off the projects tag. Far from being state projects, Raila and Martha's reformist credentials needed no emphasis.

"Unfortunately, Uhuru was the chairman of Azimio, a position that I stated publicly that he should resign from," Mwangi lamented.
