Popular content creator Eve Mungai on Wednesday, October 5, denied any knowledge of a police officer who claimed to have been duped by the YouTuber in a viral video.
Speaking to K24, Mungai claimed that she had never met the officer in her life accusing the cop of defaming her.
In a video that went viral, the said cop alleged that Mungai was ignoring him despite spending his money to help her ascend to fame.
She explained that her lawyers were handling the matter and had approached the officer over the allegations he had made.
"I am aware of the video after people started sharing it with me. I do not know the guy. I have never seen him.
"At first, I downplayed it because I am used to people using my name. It caught my attention when my lawyer shared it with me," she stated.
Mungai added that the said cop apologised to her over the matter adding that her lawyer obtained a recording of the same.
However, she did not provide the audio recording of the apology.
"My lawyer contacted him where he apologised over the matter. I do have the audio. My lawyer is handling it," she stated.
In the viral video, the cop demanded a refund of all the money he had used in supporting the YouTuber to produce all her first videos.
"I have evidence that I paid rent for five months. Now that you are famous and have decided to block me, when are you planning to return my money?
"Many will be asking why an officer is complaining but is there any problem with that?" the cop posed.
The viral video saw Eve Mungai who has a sizeable online following, trend on social media for the better part of Wednesday.
