On Monday, November 1, the Australian High Commission to Kenya announced vacancies for Visa procession officers.
The contracted officers will earn a Ksh2 Million annual starting salary, an equivalent of Ksh166,000 per month, working 37.5 hours per week for 12 months.
Selected applicants will work within the family migration section under the Home Affairs Department (Immigration and Border Protection section).
The exercise, meant to urgently fill non-ongoing fixed-term contracts of 12 months, accepts applications until November 12, 2022.
Qualifications
- Applicants were required to have tertiary experience in any relevant field.
- Experience in an application processing environment and or working with refugees
- Strong computer proficiency, especially in software applications.
- Strong written and oral English language communication skills.
- Have the ability to respond and adapt to change.
- Show sensitivity to the needs of clients from various backgrounds and with varying needs.
- Have high-developed time management skills and
- Demonstrate analytical skills as well as the ability to work with a team.
