An Officer Commanding Station(OCS) based in Nairobi is in the spotlight after he was accused of sexually assaulting victims who sought help in a case they filed at the station.

The ladies reportedly went to the station on Saturday, December 10, to report a case where they accused goons of trespassing and demolishing their wall and a gate in a wealthy suburb without a court order.

In a complaint letter seen by Kenyans.co.ke the OCS was accused of inappropriately touching the two women before arresting and booking them at the police station.

"The OCS also caused an injury to the shoulder of one of our clients, further, detained them for 12hrs and later released them on a cash bail of Ksh 30,000,” the victims' lawyers complained in a letter addressed to the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU).

Further, the lawyers claimed that the OCS conspired with the goons after he threatened to rearrest the complainants if they demolished the illegal structure erected by the goons.

"The reason we say that the OCS was in cahoots with the goons is how he knew that the goons were constructing a wall together with the gate.

...and by coincidence, a Toyota Fielder which was illegally on our client's compound and also damaged by the goons, belonged to another police officer stationed with the OCS?"

The attorneys urged IAU to investigate the case, arguing that the OCS, provided protection to the goons who reportedly broke into their house and stole household items.

"While our clients were in custody, the goons broke into their house where they stole; two MacBook laptops, three power banks, aircraft flying headsets, Ksh 100,000, personal clothes and fifty bottles of wine," the complaint letter read.

IAU was asked to charge the OCS with aiding and abetting the theft and demolition of private property, seizing the complainant's phones, and refusing to take their statements.

Sources within the National Police Services (NPS) confirmed to Kenyans.co.ke that they were aware of the report and action would be taken to ascertain the legality of the case.
