As global militaries continue to reposition in the wake of cited violence and incursions, the need for foot soldiers becomes an urge.
Kenya is one of the most targeted countries, especially due to its well-educated population dodged by a high rate of unemployment.
The East African economic giant also enjoys good relations with military powers including Israel which has, over the years, proved to be a strategic partner.
In response to the need to have as many supporters as possible, Israel initiated military engagement with individuals who are not necessarily their citizens.
Through a Lone Soldier Programme, Israel is a small country with one of the largest military forces and global support.
The nation had over the years been carrying out military engagements with volunteers from foreign nations.
A lone soldier is a military officer in the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) with no family in the Jewish nation, a new immigrant, a volunteer from abroad, an orphan or an individual from a broken home.
Lone soldiers join tens of thousands of soldiers who are defending the State of Israel and its citizens on a daily basis.
The lone soldiers are recruited from a pool of applicants drawn from around the world, especially from nations that value and support Israeli's right to exist as a sovereign Jewish state in the Middle East.
Interested candidates can access application details on www(dot)garintzabar(dot)org/lone-soldiers-benefits .
The candidates are then vetted and invited to Jeresulam for briefing and subsequent engagements.
Part of the vetting is done in the applicants' home countries where interested individuals are given a chance to explain their reasons for joining the Lone Soldier Programme.
Benefits
Qualified candidates are offered an opportunity to join a training programme that is conducted in Israel and not the home countries.
