The National Housing Corporation (NHC) on Tuesday, May 2, announced several housing units both for sale and rent across the country.
In a statement, NHC listed houses in Stoni Athi View, Lang'ata Commercial Centre, Olympic View Kibera, Nyeri Mixed-use Development, and Kisumu Kanyakwar, among others for interested Kenyans.
Meanwhile, the Meru mixed-use development, Kericho housing scheme, and Nakuru Mixed use development are expected to be on sale soon.
Some of the one-bedroom units will go for Ksh11,500 while the bedsitters will go for Ksh7,500 per month under the mortgage scheme.
Those on sale range from Ksh1.58 million to Ksh5.5 million depending on the size.
Besides the bedsitters and one-bedrooms, other housing units were studios, two-bedrooms, and studio cum shops.
The homeowners are set to enjoy a number of amenities, including ample parking, 24-hour security, adequate water supply, perimeter wall, playground, landscaped gardens, WIFI, and adequate natural lighting.

Those interested in the house units are urged to visit www.nhckenya.go.ke to browse through the listed units.
"In case our service does not meet the required standards or any officer does not follow them in their service report to the Managing Director, National Housing Corporation or the CEO Commission on Administrative Justice," NHC Managing Director David Mathu advised.
Some of the rental terms and conditions are allocation will be strictly on a first come first serve basis and on fulfillment of conditions herein, applicants are required to fill a rental application form, applications are invited from members of the public and the units are rented unfurnished.
On the other hand, those seeking to acquire the units are required to fill out an application form and pay the requisite 20 per cent of the purchase price. The deposit is payable to National Housing Corporation by a banker's cheque or direct bank transfer, and only applicants who will have paid the requisite 20% deposit will be considered depending on the availability of units.
However, unsuccessful applicants will be refunded their deposit without interest.
The duration to pay the pending balance varies depending on the housing unit.
