Kenyans seeking to sharpen their professional skills will have an opportunity to work at the Nairobi County government after the devolved unit advertised 199 positions.
In a notice on the county's official website, City Hall indicated that the vacancies were of various varying skillsets ranging from entry-level to senior positions.
Out of 199 slots, 81 are internship positions across various departments, including children officer interns, social workers, Human Resource interns, food systems and programs coordination interns and legal interns.
Others include sports interns, gender technician interns, librarian interns, recreational interns and ICT officers among others.
The rest are permanent and pensionable jobs whose salaries range from Ksh15,000 to Ksh51,000.
For instance, artisans will pocket a monthly salary ranging from Ksh15,670 to Ksh17,570 with a house and commuter allowances of Ksh4,500 and Ksh3,000 respectively.
Part of the job requirements included a KCSE mean grade D plain and a trade test certificate from the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA).
On the other hand, 57 civil and structural workers will earn between Ksh31,270 and Ksh41,260, with a house allowance of Ksh10,000 and a commuter allowance of Ksh4,000.
In the case of internships, vocational training interns will earn a monthly salary of Ksh20,000 while social workers will pocket Ksh15,000.
Candidates ought to apply for the internship slots by May 18, 2023.

On the jobs portal, candidates are able to access the full details of the various vacancies and their job grades.
The candidates are hence required to click apply adjacent to the vacant slot.
"Only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted and shall be required to produce originals of their National Identity Card, academic and professional certificates and transcripts during interviews," read the statement in part.
