House-hunting exercise is the most revered exercise in the real estate industry with preternatural attention paid to the washroom spaces and its finishing.

Most home buyers and rental seekers insist on the bathroom's square feet and prefer well-decked appliances including state-of-the-art bathtubs and shower heads.

Unknown to many, however, the Kenyan market has different types of showerheads including temperature showers, multi-temperature showers and electronic showers.

Most landlords and homeowners in Kenya buy shower heads depending on; their availability, cost and safety measures.

Kenyans.co.ke compiled unique uses of the three types so that Kenyans can make an informed choice when purchasing one.

These are the most common shower heads in Kenya due to their availability and relatively cheap value.

The shower heats water through a temperature change switch and offers maximum, medium and zero power options.

Temperature showers, if not installed by a professional, pose a high risk of electrocution.

The shower head retails between Ksh3,500 and Ksh5,000.

Multi-temperature showers are an upgrade of the temperature version offering four levels of hot water including; maximum, medium 1, medium 2 and zero.

The overhead showers are considered a luxury because they heat large amounts of water.

Additionally, the showers allow the homeowner to save a large amount of power as they have two intermediary power options.

Multi-temperature showers retail between Ksh6,000 and Ksh13,000 depending on the brand.

Electronic Showers

This is the most advanced overhead shower in Kenya retailing between Ksh14,500 to Ksh25,000.

Unlike other shower heads that use a temperature change switch, the electronic showers are fitted with a knob that controls electric power.

This feature gives unlimited options for warm water and Kenyans can set the temperature to a specific degree celsius.

The ability to control electric power also makes it the best showerhead in terms of electricity saving.
