Kilifi Police Station has announced mass action of uncollected vehicles, motorcycles and tuk-tuks stored at the post for years.

In a Gazette notice dated Friday, August 25, the police station explained that the auction was informed by a directive issued by the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Kilifi Law Court, authorising the exercise.

As per the list detailed by the station, 33 motorcycles will be put up for sale in the next 14 days following the lapse of notice issued to the owners.

The police station, however, has yet to disclose the specific location of the auction.

On the other hand, 13 tuk-tuks will also be placed for sale, with the station indicating that all the listed items are in good condition.

The vehicles range from Toyota Vitz, Nissan and Toyota Succeed.

Apart from functional automobiles, damaged vehicles and motorcycles will be sold as scrap metal.
