University of Nairobi (UoN) students' leader Babu Owino was on Thursday arrested at Kilimani Police Station for allegedly causing disturbance.
Mr Owino had reportedly gone to demand the release of city businessman Chris Obure, who was arrested on Wednesday on allegations of misusing his gun.
Obure has been on the run from police after he allegedly threatened to shoot a reveller at B-club in Kilimani area.
The businessman is said to have beaten and injured Ben Alila and his cousin on New Year's Eve.
According to a report made at Kilimani police station, OB Number 9/31/12/2016, Obure is said to have double-parked his black Range Rover at B-Club, and when asked to pave the way for Mr Alila and his cousin, he drew his pistol and threatened to shoot them.
Amid the confrontation, he smashed the driver's window of a silver Volkswagen Passat injuring Mr Alila and his cousin.
On November 2, 2015, a similar incident happened at parklands where the businessman threatened to shoot another reveller yet no action was taken against him (Obure).
