Deputy Governor Locked Out of his Office

Busia County Deputy Governor Kizito Wangalwa was on Thursday locked out of his office by unknown people.

According to Kizito, he arrived at his office and found it locked only to find it waterlogged upon breaking the door.

"I suspect foul play," he said.

Wangalwa explained that he could not rule out politics or anything for that matter until after investigations are completed.

Even though the Deputy Governor and his boss Sospeter Ojaamong have had a strained relationship, Kizito said they have remained professional.

He has asked that all the locks in his office and those of his staff be changed for the purpose of security.

Although Wangalwa is shocked and still trying to come to terms with what happened he is adamant that work will resume on Monday.
