Governor Promises Severe Punishment To Musician's Killer

Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto has said that he will join the case of Diana Chemutai commonly known as Chelele to ensure that the culprit was severely punished.

Speaking at Chelele's family home at Kapkwen in Bomet, the County boss assured residents that his government would leave no stone unturned to ensure justice.

“We will make sure the person behind this heinous crime is neither bailed out nor freed. People cannot commit murder and go scot-free," he said.

As investigations into her mysterious death continued, a recording emerged in which the popular Kalenjin musician was heard appealing that Rutto takes care of her children.
