Jubilee Nairobi Women Rep Aspirant Millicent Omanga Blocked From Accessing Jubilee Party Headquarters

Tension is high at the Jubilee Party Headquarters in Pangani Nairobi after Nairobi Women aspirant Millicent Omanga was blocked from accessing the party offices.

Omanga, while speaking to the media on the ground, stated that she had been locked out of the offices yet she was only there to file her complaint about rigging claims.

"I have evidence I was rigged out; I've come here to headquarters to present my claims,"Omanga stated.

The Nairobi Women Rep aspirant on Thursday lost to incumbent Rachel Shebesh whom she accused of rigging. Shebesh won the contest after garnering 91,766 votes against Omanga's 53,734 votes.

Supporters of popular musician Charles Kanji Njagua aka Jaguar are also camping at the headquarters demanding the naming of Jaguar as Starehe Constituency Jubilee nominations winner.

On Thursday Jaguar controversially lost to incumbent Maina Kamanda in a disputed nomination.

At the same time, another group allied to incumbent Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan has pitched tent at the headquarters lamenting that Yusuf was rigged out in favour of former MP Simon Mbugua.

Meanwhile, security has been heightened at the Jubilee headquarters as police fight to contain the crowds.
