Kalonzo Musyoka Flees From Rowdy Youth

Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka was forced to leave a rally at Kasikeu in Makueni County, after a group of unruly youth stormed the event on Friday.

The rowdy youth stormed the rally carrying Maendeleo Chap Chap banners, a campaign led by Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua.

The young men reportedly attacked the attendants of the meeting with whips, before bringing down the erected tents and dragging away plastic seats.

The youth threw the meeting into total disarray, with leaders in attendance forced to keep off.

According to Nairobi News, when questioned by Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, the youth explained that they were against Kalonzo and Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama.

Musyoka left the rally and attended a meeting at Emali town.

The Wiper Democratic Movement leader was a guest speaker at the rally.

This is the latest chaotic incident in Makueni County, which has been on the spot over leadership-centred wrangles.
