Kenya Revenue Authority's (KRA) 'Fringe Benefit Tax' Typo Causes Reactions

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) on Tuesday published a notice on the Daily Nation that left readers curious as to what the taxman was planning concerning a household appliance - the fridge.

The state agency's public notice (pictured below) was intended to alert Kenyan employers of a new tax rate that will apply to the extra benefits they offer their employees in the next three months.

An advocate of the High Court and well known political pundit, Apollo Mboya joined other social media users in making light of the mishap.

@coldtusker @SokoAnalyst it appears that @KRA_Kenya is interested in some tax in the fridge! pic.twitter.com/H7uMoYIb5o
