Wiper Democratic Movement led by party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar on Monday held a meeting with its aspirants in preparation for the April nominations.
During the meeting, Omar sensationally claimed that the Party was at liberty to field its own presidential candidate despite being part of the National Super Alliance (NASA).
The NASA co-principal, during a meeting with Wiper leaders, seemingly accused the Alliance of taking too much time to name its presidential candidate.
Musyoka questioned why the naming of the flagbearer was being delayed adding that there must be clear rules of engagement in choosing the NASA candidate.
"If you know you will hand the ticket to Kalonzo to take Jubilee home, what are you waiting for? This time round there will be basic rules of engagement. I have trusted too much," he stated.
This hashtag was trending after Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party held a forum for women aspirants at the Multimedia University of Kenya.
The meeting was graced by ODM leader Raila Odinga who encouraged women to vie for different elective positions urging them not feel threatened by their male counterparts.
He assured that assured that ODM would hold free and fair nominations for its 40,000 aspirants who were interested in various positions.
The controversial businessman was among the trending topics after he attempted to attack a court magistrate protesting against being dragged from the hospital to face kidnapping charges.
His violent act forced the court orderlies to swing into action, pouncing on him before he could attack the Judge.
