Majority Leader Aden Duale Refutes Claims by Farah Maalim That IEBC Was Biased

Jubilee Majority Leader in Parliament Aden Duale has taken a swipe at his Garissa Township parliamentary seat rival Farah Maalim for blaming the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on his woes.

Through his twitter page, Duale accused Maalim of playing to the gallery after discovering that he stood no chance against him in the August polls.

Duale stated that Maalim had panicked and was desperate to drum up support in the bid to unseat him in the run up to the August polls.

My competitor has panicked, loitering in the streets of Nairobi, blaming @IEBCKenya will not help desperate, failed, rural political rejects

He accused Kenya does not vote it's the people of Garissa Township who will cast their vote in August as they have done in the past

The majority leader further rubbished Maalims assertions that he would emerge victorious stating that he had been rejected by voters in Lagdera in 2013.

In 2013 you failed to defend Lagdera seat and ran as a senator where you lost by over 25,000 votes to the respected Hon. Haji. @FarahMaalimM

— Hon. Aden Duale (@HonAdenDuale) May 5, 2017

Aden Duale warned that Maalim should instead focuss his attention on seeking votes instead of seeking syphathy and blaming the electoral commission.

In August, we shall dig your political graveyard by sending you back to Lagdera. Leave @IEBCKenya alone and go to the ground to seek votes.

Duale also tore into the opposition's claims that they project they would get the 10 million votes in the general election.

Addressing a jubilant crowd at the Bomas of Kenya during the Jubilee party convention on Saturday, the outspoken leader, stated that the Opposition was setting up a tallying center in Tanzania and would later attack the IEBC system.

“The Opposition is setting up a tallying center in Tanzania – and once they set up the center, they plan to hack the IEBC system” he stated

The Majority leader further emphasized that the only way the NASA flagbearer would get the 10 million votes Raila is projecting was by hacking the IEBC systems after votes are cast on August 8.
