Nairobi Gubernatorial Aspirant Miguna Miguna on Saturday unveiled 24-year-old James Karihe Gathungu as his running mate.
Miguna who is seeking to unseat incumbent Governor Evan Kidero fronted the youthful running mate during a meeting held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi.
Mr Gathungu is a former Laikipia University student leader.
The outspoken lawyer was ODM leader Raila Odinga's political advisor before he resigned in 2012 and later announced his candidacy for Nairobi's top seat.
Miguna is running as an independent candidate and will be contesting against Senator Mike Sonko, who recently clinched the Jubilee ticket and Mr Kidero who is running under the Orange Democratic Party (ODM).
