Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has publicly declared that he is ready to die if he does not fulfil his promises to city residents.
Speaking on KTN's Jeff Koinange Live (JKL) Show, Miguna claimed he was ready to transform Nairobi to an unrecognisable city failure to which residents should kill him at Uhuru Park.
“Within five years if I do not do it, I would want to be hanged, literally hanged at Uhuru Park[sic],” Miguna declared.
“If I am not able to give jobs to the youth if I am not able to deal with the infrastructure if I am not able to tackle the slums,” Miguna continued, saying he was ready to give up his own life.
The lawyer exuded confidence in beating Governor Evans Kidero in next year's polls, adding that the other aspirants including Senator Mike Sonko and Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja were no match for him.
A pompous Miguna insisted that he was the best candidate as he was intellectually able to comprehend issues and deliver effectively.
He sharply criticised Kidero and Sonko stating that they were all 'empty head thieves unable to conceptualise complex ideas to drive Nairobi to the next level'.
