Nairobi Gubernatorial Aspirant Miguna Miguna Claims Peter Kenneth's Supporters Will Vote for Him in August Election

Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has claimed that former Gatanga MP, Peter Kenneth's loss at the Jubilee primaries will help him win in the August 8 Election.

In a video post on his Facebook page, Miguna stated that Kenneth's loss to Senator Mike Sonko was a blessing in disguise to his gubernatorial ambitions.

Miguna argued that the supporters of Kenneth would not vote for Sonko but would instead back his bid.

“All those people that did not nominate Mike Sonko are on our side, plus, we have PK’s orphans. These people are not going to vote for Sonko and will not vote for Kidero Evans,” argued Miguna.

He added that Sonko garnered fewer votes in the Jubilee primaries in comparison to the overwhelming support he amassed in 2013.

“Its beautiful, if you notice, that Mike Sonko did not even get the number of votes that Johnson Sakaja got in Nairobi. So essentially Sakaja beat Sonko in the Jubilee nominations. This indicates that we are going to defeat these cartels resoundingly. Sonko did not get anything even close to 150,000 votes. So, this is a far cry from what he supposedly got in 2013,” Miguna added.

Miguna pointed out that the so-called ‘cartels’ in Nairobi were falling by the wayside ahead of the polls insisting that he would emerge victorious come August.

“The cartels are falling one by one. They are tumbling one by one. Right now we are left with two cartels in Nairobi. Kidero Evans and Mike Sonko,” claimed the lawyer.
