Parliament Summons 2 CSs Over Missing Garissa University College Girl

The National Assembly has summoned Cabinet Secretaries Prof. Jacob Kaimenyi and his counterpart Joseph Nkaissery over a girl who has been missing since the April 2 Garissa University College terror attack.

The Members of Parliament led by Majority leader Aden Duale submitted that Education CS Prof. Kaimenyi and Interior and Coordination CS Nkaissery should appear before the house, maintaining that the matter should be taken seriously.

Speaking at the floor of the house the legislators noted that mourners are still visiting the girls home more than two month later since the terror attack.

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has directed the house clerk to write to the two Cabinet Secretaries.

The family of the girl identified as Risper Mutindi Kasyoka still claims that their daughter was not among the bodies recovered, yet she has not been accounted for.

According to the girl's father Isaac Mutisya he has been to Chiromo Mortuary, the Kenyatta National Hospital and the National Disaster Management offices at Nyayo House, but always returned back to his home in Ndonguni Village in Nzambani, Kitui disappointed.

Risper was a second-year business management student at the Garissa University College when terrorist attacked the University killing 147 students, and one security officer.
