Photos: First Lady Margaret Kenyatta in One of Japan's Best Hospital

Kenya's First Lady Margaret Kenyatta on Wednesday arrived in Tokyo, Japan where she is expected to address the World Assembly for Women 2015 (WAW) during her four day visit.

The First Lady arrived at Narita International Airport in Tokyo, shortly after 6:00pm.

She was received by Ambassador Hideki Hoshi from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kenyan Ambassador Solomon K. Maina.

On Thursday she was able to visit the first-rate Aiiku Hopsital in Tokyo which specialises on high quality child and maternal care.

The First Lady was given a tour of the hospital by the Director, Mr. Takashi Okai through the department of Labour, Theatre, Paediatric and Out-patient areas.

Mr. Okai told Mrs.Kenyatta that over 2000 mothers seek their services annually and high risk cases from other hospitals are referred to them.

She is expected to talk about issues concerning the girl child, maternal and children's health that are supported by her Beyond Zero campaign.

It ia anticipated that Mrs.Kenyatta will also officially launch the 3rd edition of the First Lady Half Marathon in March next year.
