PHOTOS: Students Protest Over Sugar Mummies and Daddies

Students at Rongo University in Migori County, on Monday took to the streets to demonstrate against sugar mummies and daddies engaging in sexual activities with their colleagues.

The rare protest was prompted by the heightened sexual relationships between students and senior citizens observed within campus and in the surrounding.

The students claim that sugar mummies and daddies commonly referred to as 'sponsors', were taking advantage of their economic status in order to gain sexual favours in exchange for money.

Student leader Joseph Maina led the campaign in which they waved placards bearing the words, Flee Sexual immorality.

The unusual protest came as a shock to many as Campus students have for years been known to engage in sexual relations with older men and women to gain financially.
