Pictures of Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen feasting on a mouth-watering meal as residents in his County gazed at him have parked reactions on social media.
In the photos, Murkomen is captured munching some vegetable, meat stew and ugali together with two other men while residents looked on.
The images, which were taken when the Senator visited Chepsigot area in Keiyo South to engage locals on development issues, attracted sharp criticism with many bashing Murkomen for presumably not feeding his people.
Others noted that the legislator had become active in his County only because the General Election was fast approaching.
The action by the legislator comes days after Deputy President William Ruto enjoyed lunch at a mud hotel in Uasin Gishu County.
