In a press statement, the DCI boss revealed how the police learnt of Juma's death and events that took place moments before he was shot by unidentified men while on his way home.

“Two persons approached a police officer who was on duty at Ms China Road and Bridge Construction. They informed him that they had seen a motor vehicle which had shattered windows at the interchange of the Southern by-pass off Ngong road,” the press release reads in part.
