Raila Odinga Announces that NASA Will Name Their Flagbearer in Coming Days

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has announced that the National Super Alliance (NASA) would announce it's flagbearer sooner rather than later.

Speaking at the coast on Saturday, the former Prime Minister stated that NASA supporters should remain calm and soon they would see the white smoke.

"Huo moshi mweusi mnaona ni makusudi yetu (The black smoke that Nasa supporters are seeing for now is just a deliberate calculation)," he stated.

Last week, the Opposition chief revealed that the National Intelligence Service (NIS) was behind the unending speculations of an impending break up in the NASA coalition.

Mr Odinga reiterated that the coalition, comprising of him, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang'ula, would not disband and it remains focused on beating the Jubilee Party in the August elections.

"There are many rumours that Nasa will disintegrate, but take it from me that it will never happen. None among the four of us is leaving. Leaving to go where?" he emphasised

Mr Odinga compared the Jubilee government to a witch who took off his clothes at night to do his trade but went to rest in the process.

He further stated that nearly all sectors in the country had degenerated in the last four years since the Jubilee administration rose to power.

The Opposition chief will today preside over an ODM rally at the Tononoka Grounds.
