In an IPSOS poll, Ngilu was ranked first at 50 per cent, while Ruto came in second at 31 per cent.

Devolution CS Anne Waiguru  was third at 28 per cent, followed by Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and suspended Transport CS Michael Kamau, who tied at seven per cent, The Star reports.

The IPSOS poll ranked Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka at four per cent, while President Uhuru Kenyatta and IEBC chairman Isaac Hassan were at three per cent.

CORD leader Raila Odinga was ranked 17th at one per cent.

The survey comes even as Ngilu along with other suspended Cabinet Secretaries await their fate in court, following recommendation by the EACC to have some of them charged with corruption.
