Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka Dismisses Emerging Rift Over NASA Presidential Ticket

Wiper Party leader  Kalonzo Musyoka has announced that he is satisfied with being selected the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential running mate.

Speaking at a funeral in Kangundo, Machakos, Musyoka assured his supporters that their interests had been taken care of urging them to unite behind NASA candidate Raila Odinga.

Kalonzo maintained that he was contented with the deal and moved on to shower praises on Odinga noting that he has the necessary political experience to challenge the Jubilee Party.

This came after a section of Kamba leaders led by Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze and Kitui Senator David Musila called a press conference to express their dissatisfaction with the choice of the ODM leader as the NASA flag bearer.

Nyenze stated that the Kamba community has been shortchanged and as such, they would not automatically support Odinga's candidature.

The National Assembly Minority leader's views did not go down well with other Wiper party leaders who reprimanded him.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr and Governor Kivutha Kibwana assured Wiper supporters and the Kamba community at large that their interest had been well taken care of in the deal.

"Mr. Nyenze lacks the capacity to talk on behalf of the Kamba. He cannot even talk on behalf of the Wiper party," said Kilonzo.

The same was reiterated by Makueni Women Representative Rose Museo, MP Daniel Maanzo and his Kibwezi East counterpart Jessica Mbalu.
