KTN's investigative journalist Mohammed Ali has once again sparked online rage, after he seemingly okayed a tweet stating: 'Kenya needs a coup NOW!'
The outspoken journalist was criticised by a section of Kenyans for retweeting the contentioius post, which they said could cause anarchy in the country.
The retweeted post by Ali was a rejoinder from a tweep who was weighing in on a twitter exchange between Chief Justice Willy Mutunga and Majority Leader Aden Duale over corruption in the Judiciary and Parliament.
Mr Ali's retweet of the tweet - In this exchange @HonAdenDuale & @WMutunga confirm that all arms of government are CORRUPT. Kenya needs a coup NOW! - got him termed 'irresponsible and unpatriotic' with some demanding an apology.
The two leaders clashed after Duale responded to Mutunga's admission that there was corruption at the Judiciary citing that: “Now CJ can confirm that the judiciary and supreme in particular is full of graft”.
