Former Citizen TV news anchor Terryanne Chebet has been appointed as the new General Manager at Metropol TV.
Taking to her Social Media, Chebet shared the good news.
"I have formally left Fanaka TV in very able hands and I'm super proud to join the incredibly talented team Metropol TV in delivering cutting edge Business Journalism," part of her Instagram post read.
She added that she was proud to be joining a team of accomplished colleagues who will inspire young people by publishing stories of Wealth creators, Entrepreneurs and people of integrity.
Chebet has been appointed alongside Gikonyo Macharia, who will be the Head of Broadcast and commercials and Stephen Kimani as the Managing Editor.
Metropol TV describes themselves as a pioneer 24-hour business news channel offering viewers unrivaled business content with an insightful eye.
The TV station is available countrywide on free to Air.
Before her new assignment at the local TV station, Terryanne was the CEO at Fanaka TV, a business centered TV station that gives insight and an outlook on Kenya's business curve and the economy at large.
In February, the popular media personality was appointed as the new Brand Ambassador for Turkish baby diaper firm, Hayat Kimya, which makes diapers under the brand name Molfix Diapers.
Hayat Kimya is the world’s 5th largest branded baby diapers manufacturer, and the largest tissue paper manufacturer in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa.
