Joho's Ksh23.4 Million Watch Gets Kenyans Talking [PHOTOS]

Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho, was the subject of discussion on Saturday after he posted a picture that showed him rocking an expensive timepiece.

In the photo, the county boss was seen wearing a Richard Mille Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph.

According to online sources, the high-tech watch, which was a collaboration between Richard Mille and Felipe Massa brands, costs £179,995 (without shipping charges).

If you convert this amount to Kenyan shillings, using the exchange rate of 1£=129.03 then the amount comes to Ksh23,224,754.85.

Joho's costly watch caused a stir on social media. Many could not help but wonder why the second-term governor would splurge on an ordinary accessory such as a watch.

Others, however, opined that it could be a high-end replica that costs way less.

Notably, this was not the first time that Joho has been spotted wearing an expensive timepiece.

In September 2017, he was the talk of the town after he was seen rocking a Hublot Bigbang Rosegold.

According to online sources, the watch costs nothing less than Ksh2.1 million.
