Hilarious Runner Steals Show at StanChart Marathon [VIDEO]

The Nairobi StanChart Marathon presented a chance for peoples from all walks of life to take on a challenge to run a marathon.

Enthusiasts hailing from different parts of Kenya took part in the race but it was one Job Karisa from Kaloleni Mombasa who stole the show.

In a hilarious interview with Citizen TV presenter Timeless Noel, Karisa was visibly excited to take part in this year's edition.

When questioned on which race he was taking part in, Karisa responded, "I have run 10,000 KM race" - confusing for 10 KM.

Taken aback, the Bambika presenter asked, "10,000 KM? How are you feeling after the race?"

"My body is aching after the run but I am stretching to ease the pain," Karisa revealed.

Noel further engaged the urging him to show which exercises he performed to get ready for the race.

The Mombasa resident tried to show the moves in what appeared as a dance before the presenter interrupted him, concluding the interview with laughs.

The 42KM marathon race saw the 2017 winner, Brimin Kipkorir, reclaim his title-winning in a time of  2:10:42.

Purity Chebichi put on a strong run to bag the women's title in a time of 2 hours 33 minutes and 30 seconds.

The 21KM winners were Sheila Chepkirui (women) and Andrew Nyamwai (men).

Winners in the full marathon took home KSh2 million each while the 21 KM race winners will pocket KSh 300,000.
