So far, two people from KPA have tested positive for Covid-19, with one succumbing to the disease.

Both KRA and KPA work independently but in close proximity.

Reports indicate that KRA staff working at the customs office have since been ordered by KRA Custom Commissioner Kevin Safari not to receive paperwork from third parties in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus.

In Health CS Mutahi Kagwe's press briefing on Friday, April 10, he stated that the number of Covid-19 confirmed cases in the Country had risen to189.

The CS announced that five additional cases had tested positive for Covid-19.

"We have managed to test 504 samples, 5 cases have tested positive for the virus...All five cases are Kenyans and only one has a travel history," he announced.

At the same time, the Health CS informed that 10 individuals had recovered after they tested negative twice and would be discharged.

The number of recovered patients has now risen to 22 while the number of those who have succumbed to the disease still stands at 7.
