For a long time, Kenyan media houses were not showing a lot of local content until Citizen TV changed the game with the premier of Tahidi High in 2006.

The show quickly grabbed the attention of many Kenyans, becoming the most-watched show due to how relatable it was, showcasing the life of high school students.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, actor Ashley Murugi who played the role of Ashley, hinted that the group was planning to do a reunion.
