Kenya's comedian Elsa Majimbo has released a teaser of a video giving little details of her Mega deal with international fashion Mogul Maison Valentino.
Majimbo revealed that the collaboration with the fashion giant was not fashion oriented - as many had expected - but was book.
"....to present the first edition of my debut book. The Alphabet for kids & adults. This adorable children and Adults book was created band written by @mokheira and myself and presented by the Maison," said Majimbo.
The Italian fashion mogul, Mason Valentino, noted that Elsa knows what she wants in her new world.
"For her first foray into the world of luxury, @majimb.o knows exactly how she wants things to look. Under a soft light and with wind in her hair, Elsa reveals 'The Alphabet for Kids & Adults' her first ever book, made in collaboration with Maison. Haven't had enough?" noted Valentino.
According to the 19-year-old online sensation, the collaboration is her entry into high end fashion industry.
“It has to be perfect. I want to start with a pitch black room while cinematic music plays in the background. Until suddenly, a light beam from behind. Then the camera starts to zoom in and as it does, I am slowly revealed. And I turn to the camera and I say, hello high fashion, Elsa has arrived," she says in the video.
This is not the first collaboration between Elsa and Valentino as they both inked a deal after the Comedian wore the brand on the cover of Teen Vogue on February 19.
“On Tuesday I was wearing Valentino on the cover of Teen Vogue. On Friday I announced I am working with Valentino. That is how we do baby,” stated Elsa on Twitter.
According to its website, Valentino’s fashion is displayed through the Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter lines for women and for men, and through the Valentino Garavani accessories lines that include shoes, bags, small leather goods, eyewear, scarves, ties and fragrances. An aesthetic universe, present in over 100 countries through 175 Valentino directly-operated boutiques and over 1500 points of sale.
Last week, Elsa Majimbo hosted 11-time world champion, Usain Bolt, in her new online show dubbed Bedtime With Elsa.
Recently, the young comedian was announced as the winner of the Forbes Women Africa Entertainer Award.
Majimbo also did a short monologue for the Golden Globes Awards which is hosted annually in Hollywood on Sunday February 28.
