A court in Kilgoris has sentenced two men to hang for after they were found guilty of robbery with violence and rape.
Court attendants on Wednesday were shocked as the charges were read out.
The two identified by Citizen Digital as Julius Muchabi and Bernard Hezron are said to have violently robbed a business man in in Lolgorian town, Narok County in August 2013.
During the robbery they also stole from the businessman, Aloise Kigoroko, items worth Ksh 50, 000.
The two were also found guilty of gang raping a 36 year old woman and defiling a 15 year old girl.
They are said to have committed the crimes alongside other men who were not in court.
They had denied the charges.
