Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria Vows to Remove Intestines of ODM Supporters

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria is once again in trouble after a post he put up on his Facebook page on Tuesday.

In the post, Kuria was referring to a group of youth at a NASA rally who appeared to be roughing up a police officer in Siaya County and he said he would not be kind enough to let them walk away without a fight.

"Joseph Nkaissery, IG Boinett these are ODM goons attacking police officers in Siaya.

"The officers were shielding Nicholas Gumbo - Siaya Gubernatorial aspirant's supporters from the goons. Gumbo is a kind man. I am not.

"They try such stuff on me and you will send county workers to sweep their intestines and throw them to Lake Victoria," he said in the post.

The post attracted a lot of reactions with some siding with the legislator, while others bashed him for fuelling tension ahead of the August Election.

Earlier this month, Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery warned politicians across the political divide against issuing inflammatory statements.

Mr Nkaissery expressed concerns over escalating violence instigated by politicians, saying police officers were being pushed to use force by violent demonstrators.

Elected leaders, he said, should seek to unite Kenyans instead of dividing them along political lines.

“This is to the political leadership from both Jubilee and the Opposition: You should accept to work for the unity of the nation. Anybody who incites the public to take part in chaos will face the law,” the CS said.
