13 Jubilee Party politicians from Kiambu County have defected to the National Super Alliance (NASA).
The group mostly comprising of MCAs and other aspirants were received by NASA leader Raila Odinga in Nairobi on Monday morning.
The Opposition Chief welcomed the 13 defectors into his party ahead of NASA’s tour to the county on Tuesday.
"Wakati wa mabadiliko ni sasa..(it is time for change). NASA will campaign in Kiambu, Muranga and Nyeri since we represent the face of Kenya," Odinga stated during the event.
He added, “Our message to Kiambu residents will be "NASA is the solution to your problems and Jubilee is the problem to the solution."
Raila will head to Kiambu County on Tuesday on a vote-hunting mission.
On Wednesday, the NASA caravan will head to Kericho then to Kalonzo Musyoka’s stronghold in Kitui County.
Both Jubilee and NASA will hold prayers at Uhuru Park on Friday to mark Saba Saba Day.
