Kenyans on Social Media Attack President Uhuru Kenyatta After He Snubbed Presidential Debate

President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Monday evening attacked by angry Kenyans on social media after he snubbed the 2017 Presidential debate.

Kenyans online faulted the President for failing to attend the debate with many people stating that he should have availed himself to address issues facing Kenyans. 

A statement from State House indicated that the President was meeting Samburu County Leaders during the debate.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Raila Odinga attended the debate and had a full 90-minute session which he used to elaborate on some of his major campaign promises.

Some of the promises he made include; improving security, reducing rent and standardizing the cost of living and the economy.
