Social media users on Friday engaged in a heated discussion over who was the favourite for the Machakos County gubernatorial seat in the upcoming polls.
Supporters of the two top candidates - incumbent Governor Alfred Mutua and the former Kathiani legislator Wavinya Ndeti - came out to defend their candidates.

Wavinya Ndeti is a force to reckon with, she has a backup of political giants in Ukambani. Governor Mutua should fear. Yaliyondwele sipite.

By 2027 Governor Mutua will have sent some of these political bigwigs into political oblivion! Just as Ruto did to the likes of Jirongo
