Hillary Clinton Uses Kenya Supreme Court Ruling to Challenge Donald Trump's Election

Former United States presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has used the ruling delivered by the Supreme Court of Kenya to raise questions on President Donald Trump's election in the 2016 American poll.

Mrs Clinton has termed the Supreme Court ruling that overturned President Uhuru Kenyatta's win as interesting.

She explained that the reasons cited by CJ David Maraga and his team are valid grounds that could also lead to the annulment of the US election if only America had the "mechanism" to do so.

"I just don't think we (the US) have a mechanism (to challenge a presidential election)," Clinton said during an interview with US radio station, NPR.

Clinton went on to make claims that President Trump and President Kenyatta's wins may have been facilitated by UK data company, Cambridge Analytica.

"You know, the Kenyan election was just overturned and really what's interesting about that — and I hope somebody writes about it — is that the Kenyan election was also a project of Cambridge Analytica, the data company owned by the Mercer family," the former First Lady declared.

She went on to narrate that the UK company got involved with Trump's campaign soon after he was nominated as the Republican Party's presidential candidate.

An August 3 report by BBC reads: "Cambridge Analytica's involvement in Kenyan politics began in 2013 when the company worked for Kenyatta and The National Alliance - the forerunner of the Jubilee Party".

The report also states that the Jubilee party hired the firm to come up with strategies for the 2017 campaign.

"And so we know that there was this connection. So what happened in Kenya, which I'm only beginning to delve into, is that the Supreme Court there said there are so many really unanswered and problematic questions, we're going to throw the election out and redo it. We have no such provision in our country," Clinton concluded.

Mrs Clinton has published a memoir titled "What Happened" that divulges details of this and other events that she believes cost her the presidency in 2016.
