President Uhuru Kenyatta Warns Raila Odinga Ahead of Tuesday's Mass Protests Against IEBC

President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned the National Super Alliance (NASA) against planned protests at the IEBC headquarters on Tuesday.

President Kenyatta has sternly warned NASA leaders and their supporters that any form of violence and destruction will not be tolerated.

"People are free to demonstrate but they must ensure that they do not destroy other people’s property. Mama Mboga’s vegetables will not be destroyed. Businesses will not be attacked. Let them not think that they will break into other people’s shops and interfere with the daily routine of other Kenyans.

"They will know there is a government in Kenya. That, we shall not allow," President Kenyatta said during rallies in Chuka on Monday.

He further advised the Opposition to stop fighting the IEBC and instead focus on campaigning.

"They (opposition) have to decide whether they want to be the adjudicators or the candidates because they cannot be both.

"We will not allow the opposition to deny Kenyans their right to choose the leader they want," the President declared.

President Kenyatta further advised that the only way to the presidency is through the ballot box, rubbishing any claims of a power-sharing deal.

The President expressed confidence that he would be re-elected in the repeat presidential poll.

"The same God who gave us victory and the same Kenyans who voted for us onAugust 8 will be there on October 26," Uhuru stated.

Odinga, on Sunday, announced that the Opposition would storm the IEBC headquarters tomorrow to forcefully eject officials they claim are to blame for the bungled August polls.
