Mutahi Ngunyi Reveals What Raila Will Demand Next

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has revealed that National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga is yet to play out his whole game after Tuesday's announcement.

According to the analyst, the former Prime Minister is planning to go back to the Supreme Court to seek that a "Caretaker President" be installed.

Ngunyi stated that Odinga will depend on Chief Justice David Maraga to execute his scheme noting that NASA will argue that President Uhuru Kenyatta's term expired on October 31.

The renowned analyst has further suggested that Mr Odinga's plan would kick off on November 1.

"1st November, NASA goes to Maraga arguing Uhuru's mandate expired on Oct 31st.Caretaker President is installed by Maraga. And Coup continues," Ngunyi revealed.

Mr Ngunyi further claimed Odinga has a long-term plan that began when he withdrew his candidature from the repeat presidential poll slated for October 26.

In addition to the claim, Ngunyi has dismissed the NASA leader's withdrawal as null and void stating that Mr Odinga ought to have filled a Form 24A.

"If Raila did not withdraw using Form 24A, his withdrawal is null and void. A letter is not enough," the Professor tweeted.

He added that the election would have been postponed to January 10, 2018, had the Opposition leader used the form to declare his withdrawal.

Prof. Ngunyi has warned President Kenyatta not to celebrate as yet, cautioning that Mr Odinga's plan will be an "ugly" one.

"Jubilee did not see the Maraga Scheme. They should not celebrate before they understand the Raila withdrawal Scheme. It is UGLY!" Ngunyi warned.
